So, have you been conned by Dietspotlight’s Burn-TS diet pill? Are you frustrated by not able to cancel your recurring monthly charges? I have discovered a way to get rid of this hassle. Moreover, you can get refund on unauthorized and illegal charges made on your credit card.
Before getting into the details, first I’ll highlight how this scam works. Surprisingly, this scam is going around for more than 10 years!
About Diet Spotlight Scam
Dietspotlight is supposed to be an independent consumer awareness website. The site reviews various diet and weight loss products/programs. While reading the review they entice you to try their own diet pill called ‘Burn TS Fitkit’.
The catch is that you must pay small shipping insurance fee to get free samples. This is how they get your credit card number and enroll you into monthly auto shipment program. The recurring charges are mentioned in their ‘terms’ page. Unfortunately, 99% people don’t read ‘term of use’ carefully.
Please note that this article is not a product review, but a tutorial to come out of scam-trap through deception. You can read Dietspotlight Burn review here. Also, you can read about Dietspotlight scam here. Both are external links but are very helpful.
How to Cancel Dietspotlight LLC?
Step 1: You must call the company by dialing to (844) 964-3258 and clearly say that you want to return the product for full refund. Also ask them to remove you from future charges. They may give you some lame reasons. But don’t give up yet.
Step 2: Send email to them with 48-hour deadline. Threaten them that you’ll file a complaint with BBB (Better Business Bureau) if they don’t cancel recurring charges and process refund.
Step 3: Patiently wait for 48 hours. If you don’t hear anything from them, then proceed to file a complaint with BBB.
Click here to visit Dietspotlight’s BBB page and then click on ‘file complaint’. Provide all the necessary details including your order number, contact information and mention all the financial losses.
Does it work?
Yes, Dietspotlight is a reputed website which gets 1000’s of visitors daily. So, they are bothered about their BBB rating. Their current BBB score is “B-“ which isn’t great.
As of writing this article, there are 78 complaints and all of them are resolved. Most fly by night type companies don’t even bother BBB complaints. They change product and company name frequently to avoid scrutiny.
Dietspotlight Burn was previously marketed as Avesil and Leptigen. Both these products have received complaints from 1000’s of customers. The name of “Burn-TS” may change sooner, so get your refund before it is too late!
